Early Learning Resource Center

What is the program?
The Starfish Early Learning Resource Center offers a variety of FREE services to assist parents and caregivers with educational and mental health support for their children and families. The center is staffed with trained educators and infant mental health professionals.
Free services offered include:
  • Parenting classes
  • Support groups
  • Family activity groups
  • Socialization groups
  • Parent and child free play
  • Guest speakers
  • Medical education and information
  • Lending library
  • Donation center
  • Access to computers
  • GED Prep Classes
  • Mental health screenings
  • Community resources and referral services
Who can participate?
Families who have children ages 0-6 years or who are expecting a baby and are residents of Wayne County.

Monday-Friday
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Evening classes and groups are also offered.
