After-School & Summer Enrichment
|
What is the program? The After-School & Summer Enrichment program gives teens and children a safe, wholesome and stimulating place to spend their time after school and during the summer months. Programming helps children have more confidence, do better in school and be better equipped to make positive life choices.
Our Inkster Public Schools site and two Westwood Community School sites provide a safe learning environment that stimulates academic interest, promotes cultural exploration, builds life skills, encourages high self-esteem, and involves both parents and the community.

Students from Tomlinson Middle School and Robichaud Senior High School develop social skills and good study habits in a fun and secure learning environment. Every day after school, tutors help with homework, and participants enjoy hands-on activities and programs focused on health, wellness, reading skills, prevention education and responsible citizenship.
Students join in group activities to promote self-esteem, build resistance to peer pressure and develop skills needed for success in school and life
